TC Game - Responsible Gaming

TC Game responsible gaming: how to set deposit and time limits, recognise problem-gambling warning signs, self-exclude, and reach confidential 18+ support helplines.

Play within your limits

At TC Game, responsible gaming starts with a simple rule: only spend what you can genuinely afford to lose. Before you deposit, decide on a fixed entertainment budget, for example, ₹500 or ₹1,000 per week, and treat it exactly like a cinema ticket or a dinner out. Once that amount is gone, the session ends. Never dip into money set aside for rent, groceries, EMIs, or utility bills.

Keep gaming balanced with the rest of your life. Set a phone alarm to mark the end of each session, take regular breaks every 30 to 45 minutes, and avoid playing when you are tired, stressed, or under the influence of alcohol. Chasing losses, depositing more to recover what you have already lost, is one of the most common ways casual gaming tips into harmful behaviour. Recognising that urge and closing the app instead is the single most protective habit you can build.

Warning signs of problem gambling

Problem gambling rarely announces itself loudly. It usually creeps in through small changes in behaviour: sessions that run longer than planned, deposits that grow week on week, or a creeping reluctance to talk about how much you have spent. Financial red flags include borrowing money from family or friends to fund play, using UPI apps like PhonePe, GPay, or BHIM to make late-night transfers you later regret, or neglecting loan EMIs and credit-card payments because your balance has been depleted by gaming losses.

Emotional signs are equally important to watch for, feeling anxious or irritable when you are not playing, gambling to escape stress or low mood, lying to loved ones about your activity, or feeling guilt and shame after a session. If two or more of these patterns sound familiar, that is a clear signal to use the limit-setting or self-exclusion tools below, or to speak with a counsellor. You do not need to have hit rock bottom before seeking help.

Deposit, loss and time limits

TC Game gives every registered player direct control over three types of spending boundaries, all accessible from the Responsible Gaming section of your account settings. A deposit limit caps how much you can add to your wallet over a chosen period, daily, weekly, or monthly. A loss limit stops play automatically once your net losses reach the threshold you set. A session time limit logs you out after a defined number of minutes, regardless of your balance.

To set or adjust a limit: log in → go to Account → Responsible Gaming → Spending Controls → choose the limit type → enter your preferred value → confirm with your registered mobile OTP. Increases to any limit take 72 hours to come into effect (a mandatory cooling-off period), while reductions apply immediately. We strongly recommend setting all three limits when you first create your account, before you make your first deposit via PhonePe, GPay, BHIM, or any other UPI method.

Self-exclusion and cool-off

If you feel you need a longer break, TC Game offers two options. A cool-off period temporarily suspends your ability to deposit and play for 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days, your account remains open but is fully restricted for that duration. A self-exclusion goes further: it closes your account entirely for a minimum of six months, with extensions up to five years available. During self-exclusion, your data is retained as required by law but you cannot reopen the account early under any circumstances.

To activate either option, navigate to Account → Responsible Gaming → Take a Break and follow the on-screen steps, or email our support team at [email protected] with the subject line "Self-Exclusion Request." The measure is applied within one hour of your request. Unlike a simple password change or app deletion, self-exclusion prevents account access even if you try to log in from a new device, making it a far more robust safeguard than willpower alone.
